Starting from a place of admiration and respect, this project seeks to explore and translate into an immersive experience the narratives and resources preserved within the Trans Memory Archive in Argentina.
Drawing on its profound sensitivity and its testimonial and informative power, the work aims to create a space for contemplation and reflection, one where visitors can journey through the intertwined contexts of adversity and resilience that have shaped the lives of trans women in the country.
This project proposes a path of recognition and vindication: honoring the activism, memories, hardships, and celebrations of these women who, as survivors, bear witness to lives of striking contrasts, moments of anguish and joy, fear and protection, solitude and companionship.
